Learn how to make Nargisi Kofta Indian version of Scotch Eggs by Chef Varun Inamdar <br /> <br />Nargisi kofta is boiled eggs stuffed inside a shell of ground lamb mixed with several spices.Watch & learn how to make Nargisi Kofta with chef Varun Inamdar only on Get Curried. <br /> <br />Ingredients <br />For the Kofta <br />250gms Mutton kheema <br />1 small onion finely chopped <br />2 nos chopped green chillies <br />1 tsp ginger paste <br />1 tsp garlic paste <br />1/2 tsp garam masala <br />2 tbsp maida / rice flour <br />1 no egg <br />3 no boiled eggs <br />Salt to taste <br />Oil for frying <br />For the gravy <br />3 large tomatoes <br />1 tsp ginger paste <br />1 tsp garlic paste <br />2 tbsp raw onion paste <br />1/2 tsp turmeric <br />1 tsp red chilly powder <br />1/2 tsp garam masala powder <br />5 tbsp whipped yogurt <br />2 tbsp oil <br />1 cup water <br />Salt to taste <br />Coriander for garnish <br /> <br />Method <br /> <br />- Boil some water and add some salt to it. Place the hard boil eggs in it and boil for 6-7 minutes and keep it aside to cool. <br /> <br />- In a bowl add minced meat, chopped onions, chopped chillies, ginger garlic paste, garam masala, salt & refined flour & whipped egg <br /> <br />- Mix the minced meat and check if the eggs are cooled down & peel them <br /> <br />- Heat some oil and take the kofta mixture and cover the egg with it and egg wash them & fry them in the heated oil. <br /> <br />- In a pan add some oil and add onion puree to it, ginger garlic paste, tomato puree, whipped curd, salt, garam masala, turmeric and red chilli powder and let it cook <br /> <br />- Add the kofta's to the gravy and add a cup full of water <br /> <br />- Nargisi Kofta are ready to be served! <br /> <br />Garnish it with Coriander!
